Read Aloud Time is like no other time of the day. When your child hears your familiar voice filled with love, they hear how much you enjoy seeing the world though their eyes.
Record stories when you are not pressed for time. Customize red highlighted words with your child's name or those she knows. Undo a page if you want to record it over again. Share stories by creating a "group text" and naming it with your wee one's name. If video file is too large to send via text, choose the iCloud option. For more tips, go to "Read Aloud Primer".
Guide For Teachers -

There's never been so much interest in reading out loud to kids. The Pandemic lowered reading scores dramatically. Teachers know that only one percent of words are heard by kids outside the classroom 99% of the time. What if all kids had access to quality vocabulary read by someone they know? Today's educators are willing to use technology to reinforce language acquisition outside classrooms.

Teachers can record stories and then assign them to be read at home, and then used as basis for class discussions. Or they can project RMAS on a screen in class to read together. Or have students record a story and then review their video file one on one.

We know screens are hard to resist but the good news is that there is no need to give them up when you use Read Me A Story app. Animated cartoons and audiobooks are no match for stories read just for you by someone you love. Maybe someday you will read the stories back to them?

You can experience these stories again and again. Stop narration when you want to linger over an illustration. Collect favorites right in the app and long press on cover to send a story request to a grownup.
