There used to be a certain anonymity when you were interacting with your little ones. Technology is changing that, for better or for worse. It seems now that every thing gets tracked and made available to third parties, for advertising and data mining purposes.

 

Read Me A Story app is a small island of privacy in this brave new digital world. We offer amazing new technologies that allow you to own and control your own stories. We never ask for personal information about either you or your child. All stories that you read are stored locally on your own trusted devices - and they are yours and yours alone - to enjoy and share forever, as you decide.

 

In providing our Services, we do NOT ask for or collect any of the following information -

• Identifying information, such as name, year of birth, phone number, password, age or photo.

• Payment information, such as credit card, email address, or responsible party. 

• Advertising information, such as pixel tagging, tracking, or cookies

• Data information, such as data brokers or data banks​

 

You may make choices regarding subscriptions, updates, and product alerts, and you may delete your user account. We use reasonable security measures designed to help protect against unauthorized access or destruction of data, but unfortunately no digital storage system can be guaranteed. If you believe the security of your account has been compromised, immediately contact us.

 

We encourage parents to take an active role in their children’s use of this app. Although the Service is a safe place for kids, a child may leave the Service using their device’s Home button. Should your child leave the Service for another application, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We have no control over how other applications collect, distribute, or otherwise use or safeguard your personal information.
